Costume Glitz is your one stop shop for quality costumes and dancewear.

We offer a wide range of Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop and Character costumes.

Featuring quality fabrics including lycras, laces, motifs, sequins, sequinned fabrics, diamantes and feathers, our range is ideal for group and solo performances. We can also design and make costumes and are happy to work with you to create unique styles to showcase your solo and group routines. We offer discounted prices to studios for group/troupe costumes for orders.

Costume Glitz was created by Alison Cosgriff (former owner of D & D Performing Arts School – Gold Coast) in 2010 to provide quality and affordable costumes that give the performer the edge. After selling my studio at the end of 2010 I have focussed upon developing my business ‘Costume Glitz’ further, designing and making costumes in all genres of dance. It has been a worthwhile transition to branch out and provide costumes and accessories to studios all over Australia using expertise that has been acquired over the past 15 years whilst teaching in the industry.

At Costume Glitz we provide our customers the opportunity to buy off the rack. We use excellent quality lycras, chiffons, netting, tulle, cottons and satins. I am constantly updating, searching for new fabrics and sourcing you materials to create that perfect costume.

All costumes are made in Indonesia and designed in Australia. All studio owners are entitled to group discounts when ordering so please contact me by email or mobile so that I can help you create the perfect costume.

RETURNS POLICY

Returns & Exchanges

Our intention at Costume Glitz is to ensure our customers are 100% happy with their purchase.

Whilst our garments are made using high quality fabric and textiles, keep in mind that these fabrics are delicate and must be treated with care. If you are unsure on how to best care for your garment, please contact our Customer Service team at info@costumeglitz.com.au for help.

Note that all items are subject to the following conditions:

  • Costume Glitz will not replace or exchange items that are made custom to size, damaged through wear and tear, damage from contact with liquids, make up or rough surfaces.

Faulty Garments

Should you receive an item that is deemed faulty by us, we will:

  • Replace the item with the same item subject to availability or offer a refund if an exchange of the same item is not possible; and
  • Cover the cost of return postage together with the cost of sending the replacement item.

Contact our Customer Service team on 0410 666 856 to report a faulty item within 7 days of your order being sent. Please take photographs of the fault and be ready to email them through. We may request that you return the item at your cost, so that we can assess the damage. If we deem the fault is ours, we will reimburse you for the cost of returning the garment, and we will send you a replacement in the same colour and size. In the event that the particular item has sold out and cannot be replaced, a full refund will be issued on the original purchase price. Alternatively, we will offer the opportunity to exchange the sold out item for another product with any difference in price to either be credited or charged accordingly.

Incorrect Sizes

We have requirements that you provide measurements for all costumes. We can only exchange for another size if we have the costume in stock, and this is unlikely. If you would like to check please email us at info@costumeglitz.com.au.

Change of Mind

In accordance with ACCC guidelines we are not required to provide a refund for change of mind. Our garments are made to order and are therefore not returnable.
